And start building the multiracial, multigender, multigenerational poor and working class alliance that people like the late Fred Hampton have encouraged. And we have to accept that we may never see the fruits of our labor. We plant seeds, which may not germinate until after we're gone.
I feel your pain, Corinne, as someone who works in social services (and is solidly middle class).
