I was born in 1956 in SC and I feel you!! The colored & white water fountains, the sitting up in the balcony cuz only white folk sat downstairs, the colored & white entrances to places, the no coloreds allowed at lunch counters in places like Kress & Woolworths, the sitting in the back of the damned bus cuz the front seats were whites only -- I could go on and on. So like you, I don't suffer fools gladly who try to insult my damned intelligence.
