Amen to this and a truly WONDERFUL post!!

Having a Black president for eight years did not make the U.S. safer for Black people. Having a (cop-friendly) Black woman as vice-president for three years has not made the U.S. safer for Black people. Black people, cis and trans, continue to live on our streets and in our jail cells in numbers far disproportionate to their population.
When Will Black Lives Matter in America?
