Another EXCELLENT piece of writing here, Sis!!! I've been out-of-pocket for awhile (lots of shit going on here both personal and not) but I just needed to tell you how -- as always -- you hit the damned nail on the head with this piece.

I've been thinking the same things lately, particularly how white folk ALWAYS manage to benefit monetarily -- no matter what. And you're right DEI is bullshit. All it does is make more money for them. All these commercials they've finally decided to make diverse, simply makes folk THINK they give a shit about something other than their bottom lines -- when that's ALL they're thinking about. The thing that bothers me most, is we fall for that shit and keep shoveling more of our hard-earned money into their coffers. {SMDH}
