As a Lowcountry girl from Charleston myself, William -- I can definitely co-sign the above! Peter Wood's, "Black Majority" is an excellent read about how outnumbered by, and absolutely petrified of us Black folk the general white population of Charleston actually were! And yes, DeSantis is made from that same damned, racist mold. SMDH
