Damn, Carol! Don't know how I missed that huge piece of news but, I sure as hell am surprised. I am just UNDONE with this damned government in this country. And they do this shit brazenly, as if they did us a favor. It's quite clearly depraved indifference to the plight of Americans -- from both PARTIES. We have GOT to stop blaming the Rethuglicans for everything (even though McConnell is in an inordinate position of power in the Senate due to their majority). Progressive Dems, fighting for what folk really, really need -- have been, and are continually silenced by Pelosi, Schumer and their ilk for the sake of "the deal." I'm so sick and damned tired of all of them!
