Herb, Herb, Herb -- I was in the first grade at Immaculate Conception School (ICS) in Charleston -- the segregated, Black Catholic school for us savages. Miss Collins, the white lay-teacher (they allowed to civilize us), rolled in the TV and told us all to be quiet and watch, because President Kennedy had been shot -- dead. I'll never forget that day. Black folk were cryin' all over Charleston because they believed THIS damned white, president meant to do something for our asses. No Black folk knew about COINTELPRO and Bobby sayin' the March shouldn't even have happened. Your list of ours is soul-breaking, Brother....
