Hey TB, I do -- because most Americans DON'T know anything about the Donbass, yet they're flapping their gums and beating the drums of war anyway.

The point of the post wasn't about his documentary (which I've not seen), but to show there are real journalists like Canadian, Eva Bartlett (the woman doing the interviewing in the video) actually on the ground in Donbass talking to people and reporting what's ACTUALLY happening versus what Western media SAYS is happening because none of them are there, which speaks to your point of: "I think most people don’t understand every government lies and controls their media."

And quiet as it's kept, plenty of those people going through this in Donbass do have access to media like Monson who's being interviewed and lives there. As a matter of fact, there's a young Ukrainian girl of Russian descent (like Monson) in Donbass writing right here on Medium! While you and I, among others, realize "the bullshit the United States pushes out," way more people than us don't. If they did, maybe this damned proxy war never would've gotten off the ground.
