Man, I wish I had you as a History teacher growing up -- it would've set my whole "becoming" on extraordinarily different path, because for awhile there I believed the bullshit they were teaching in my quest to feeling a part of this country. By the time I got to high school, being taught by young, "New Negro" teachers, trust me, I became disabused of their bullshit.
