Also, in America, when African Americans gained their freedom, lynchings became epidemic. These unholy acts of racial barbarism happened quite often in America and mobs of whites would gather to watch Black men or women hung, burned, mutiliated or all three. Their children were there as well. The Ten Commandments did not stop any of this.
