I already know -- based on your posts (yes I do read them) and where your home is now -- that we don't agree on this situation, Dylan, and that's perfectly fine. I hope you and your family are, and stay safe.

All I can say now is, none of this had to happen. I hate seeing Ukrainians sacrificing their lives/homes for a US-led, proxy-war aimed at destroying Russia so they can try to achieve world-hegemony. I'm tired of all the innocents dying, maimed and mangled and countries destroyed --as has been the case since Hiroshima & Nagasaki; Korea; Vietnam; Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm tired of other Western countries not seeing how they have been, and are, being used to that end as well -- all while their citizens are suffering at home while the Military Industrial Complex gets rich. You may well be right about what will happen if they stop fighting, I can't speak to that.

What I can speak to, is the U.S. will be the only true beneficiary of whatever outcome there will be. Biden's already appointed Penny Pritzker (a member of one the richest families in the nation), Obama's former Secretary of Commerce and whose brother is Chicago's current governor (she'd already been to Ukraine in 2014 scouting out the prospects) to oversee Ukraine's "economic recovery." Make no mistake, the vulture's are circling. If Zelensky can't find a way to sit down with Putin -- ALL Ukrainians (who've not pocketed gazillions of the "humanitarian aid" dollars and secured them elsewhere) will bear the brunt of this awful tragedy.
