I fell in love with Annie Lee around the same time! That "Blue Monday" avatar is actually a photo I took of one of my collectable figurines (and you're exactly dead-on about why I bought it!😆). I'm a mean Bid Whist player, so I have her "Six No Uptown" figurine and I love going to the casino and play the slots, so I also have her "777" figurine. And I agree with you, she absolutely NAILS the BlackWoman's FULL experience -- everything we do and go through. I bought that Paul Goodnight, "Links and Lineage" you're talking about above, when I lived in DC. It's a large one hanging in the foyer so folk know exactly who they're dealing with when they come in my door!
