As I continued to read, and saw the names "David Lloyd George and Asquith," regarding Ireland, I KNEW you were going to clear up my here-to-fore cloudy understanding of the true ramifications of the Balfour Declaration as it related to Palestine that I was trying to work through before I could put it on the page! You've solved my problem! I hope you don't mind my linking to this in my post whenever I get it finished because it's SO damned important for folk to understand amid this genocidal slaughter of Palestinians. As usual, the Empire, upon which the sun was never to supposedly set, played a crucial role in where we are as an entire world today. Thanks for writing this. I hope it's widely read and shared.
