My dear Sister-friend, while I totally agree with you about THESE days -- I have to say that, after 400 years of doing those damned jobs "FOR FREE" -- no, they aren't ones I'd look to, or even WANT to fill, nor should I have to.
My grandmother, who died in 2002 at 93 years old, was a damned tit-nurse for a white woman who wouldn't deign to destroy her milky white breasts by nursing her own f*ckin' children. Our family (myself included -- reason I hate okra to THIS DAY -- itches like a MoFo when you pick it!) share-cropped white folks shit, just like those "Florida people" (that's what my grandmother called ALL Latinos white folk decided to bring to SC to "pick," because Black folk decided to either be paid better for their work or farm for themselves).
My mother and aunts cleaned white folks' houses, emptied their slop jars, cooked their breakfast, lunch and dinners and my grandfather cleared their land, built their houses and kept their damned plantation landscapes "Gone With the Wind" beautiful -- all while living in homes/cabins that were barely habitable (see the Edisto Island cabin (where my family's from) they moved to the Smithsonian cuz NOW it's de rigueur: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smithsonian-institution/slave-cabin-set-to-become-centerpiece-of-new-smithsonian-museum-59052319/).
I say all that to say -- Please, don't use their BS commentary to divide us -- it's what they want.
