Rebecca, you must've been walking around in my head today --thanks much for writing this!! And you're right on both counts -- it needs to be told and the mainstream media won't tell it.

I'm working on a similar post because, listening to the stenographers for the U.S. government in the mainstream media had me thinking I was living in Bizarro World!!! While I hate war for any reason, I'm not crazy enough to believe Putin just woke up one day and said, "Hmmm, looks like a great day to bomb Ukraine."

You've made some very valid points here to which I'll add my own in my post (not enough room in the comments section to address them all!). I would however, like to link to yours so folks can get a clearer picture of what led to this catastrophe.
