She's definitely SPOT-ON there for sure! I could not IMAGINE someone who'd been undergoing medical gender-affirming care suddenly being told (much like those seeking an abortion) "That's it. We've decided you can't do that here anymore."

And again I agree with her (yeah, you got a good one there Brett!😄), counseling should be step one and as you said, all the hell they need to do is provide it! But no-o-o-o-o, that'd be considered "grooming" by the intellectually-challenged. {SMDH}

And the kids who don't/can't get it are the ones we find living out on the streets because their families can't/don't want to understand what they're going through, or drugged out, because they don't know how to deal with what they're feeling so they self-medicate. I worry about them too.

Given what you've shared so far, I'm sure I'd love her! Not only do we agree on the medical legislation and counseling aspects, we've also got the "banned books" bookshelf in the office (and quite frankly, all over my house!) in common -- not to mention our mutually being pissed the hell off about Greg Abbott's ass! I'm in Texas too and everyday, I ask myself and the husband, "Why in the HAYELL did we move back to the damned "Belly of the Beast"??!! Truly, if my sons and grandkids weren't here -- I WOULD NOT BE HERE!

While trump's for sure a dick, I can't get with Bush lookin' like a damned saint. That Nepo-Baby and his crew not only lied us into a war that destroyed so many American lives -- they destroyed a country and massacred a gazillion innocent people there who had absolutely nothing to do with his hegemonic goals.
