Sitting here in the Belly of the Beast that is TX, I watched this on the local news and cried hard for that baby girl and her family and little friends -- because yes, I, like you, see it as murder. The fear in schools, places of business and even shelters here is VERY intense, given the large Latino population and the racist governor and his minions who, as you say, secretly rejoice in their handiwork. The cruelty of it all is the point for them -- and it's driving me damned crazy, so much so, I've not even been able to write about it. Thanks for doing this and hopefully I'll be able to add my voice one day soon.
