Hakeem Jeffries got that soundbite and the media praise because they love meaningless gestures. That’s all he cares about. He’s not going to fight for higher wages, medicare for all, or free public college. An obnoxious A-Z list accomplishes nothing, and shouldn’t distract from the fact that we have two years minimum of gridlock and useless theatrics to look forward to.
