This post was wonderful, Thelma -- and as you stated, "There are many white people hurting and just as broke as the rest of us. But their white skin remains a currency that is not matched by any other in this country."

Sucks for them, continually. Soon as they figure the f*ck out (if they ever do), being white only carries currency -- if they're rich, they might come to clarity (no hopes of that happening in my lifetime).
