Trust me, that majority wasn't/isn't slight or he wouldn't have won. I've been living with these fools long enough to know they are many and viciously racist. And just so you know, hardly anyone except pollsters (and those who don't do their research on these candidates and their followers) believes in these polls. And yes, I think it was intentional -- everybody has a right to their own opinions.

Musk didn't JUST arrive, he and his money have been there, behind the scenes, all along with a promise from tRump of the authority he's now been given. Our government has been up for sale for a very long time -- the Democrats are just a lot more subtle about it.
