Yeah, just like every other country in the world, there's always a catch when they offer something seemingly for the good of folk. Same with Ghana and their call to ADOS. They're very aware of Black folk's situation here in this country (who isn't?). What better way to HELP us than to call us (and all our dollars) "Home" to Ghana? If I'm not mistaken, even Stevie Wonder moved there! And yeah again, you're right -- you shouldn't have to stay in white countries just to be, particularly because you want o support "the people." But if "the people" don't want to support you, are you willing to be taken through it, to fight them over there for change? Hell, the fight over here for you is already monumental -- just sayin'. I get the need to fight, Darlin' (trust me, it ALL keeps me up at night) -- but as my one best friend always tells me, "Debi, you gotta pick your battles, girlfriend -- or you'll lose your damned mind!"
