Last night, as I finished listening to Ta-nehisi Coates narrate his latest book on Audible (as I’ve said many times, “this old gray mare’s eyes just ain’t what they used to be!”), I realized the shit was really gonna hit the fan when he went full bore on his promotion tour.

Frankly, I didn’t think any of the lame-stream talking heads on daytime talk and/or news shows would even interview him, given the masters they serve and the half-truths they love to spew. But hey, they’d already given him so many accolades for his other books which had not pointedly laid bare who they were, how could they not? They’d look like fools!

Up until today, I hadn’t seen him promote it anywhere except for on The Daily Show” with Jon Stewart last Monday, which I thought went really well:
